Scrambled tofu

Hello, it’s been a while but here’s a new recipe finally – scrambled tofu!

Ingredients

1 tbs vegetable oil

1 block of natural tofu

4–5 cherry tomatoes

1 spring onion

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp kala namak

2–3 tbs soy cream

Start by crumbling your tofu, and then chop your tomatoes and spring onion. Heat up the oil in a large frying pan and then add your tofu.Stir occasionally to make sure none sticks and burns, and that it dries out evenly. It doesn’t need to be crispy, so 3 or 4 minutes should do. Now add the turmeric and kala namak and stir well. Add your tomatoes and spring onions and turn the heat down to low. It should look like this:

Now add the soy cream. How much you want depends on how runny you like your scrambled tofu. This is how I like mine:

Season with salt an pepper and serve on toast with baked beans (and sausages, fried tomatoes and fried mushrooms if you’re hungover :))
